In this new year, some people have smiled more than others, some have cried their hearts out, we have lost some people to death, some are sick and weaker than they were at the beginning of the year, we have welcomed bundles of joy, some have found love and willed their lives to one another while some others have split. but in any situation, if you have the eyes to read this, and the hands to scroll through, then you have more to be thankful for.

I got married to my loving husband in April 2010. Although at first, I was not really in love with him, but because I was getting older, and I could not find any good man from my religion and tribe, my parents introduced me to him and pressured us into marriage.
The first time I had an affair, it was a mistake. I ran into my ex and we exchanged Blackberry pins. We chat all the time and at that point, I was not really happy in my marriage so I encouraged him. Soon after, we started to hang out and started sleéping together. He eventually moved from Lagos to Abuja so that ended our affair.
Since then, I have had a few flings with four more men including my friend's husband. I currently have two children with my husband but I feel unsatisfied.
My husband is very loving and kind, and I have grown to love him but I'm not able to stop this extra-marital affair. The sad thing is that my husband has no clue what is going on. I never give him any reason to suspect. I delete all my phone messages even though he does not even check my phones. I make sure I cover my tracks because I want to keep my family together.
Recently I talked to my Pastor who encouraged me to keep praying and fasting but this isn't helping because still keep my men outside and I still see them.
I know I need to stop, but I don't know how. Please Help.

One night when I visited a nursing home, a resident named Tom slipped out quietly from his room, hoping to catch me to chat. After we talked awhile, he asked, “Won’t God be insulted if I become a Christian this late in life?”Tom’s question wasn’t a surprise. As a chaplain, I often hear it in varying forms from the elderly, from those who struggle with addictions, from former prisoners. They think they have a legitimate reason to believe it’s too late for them to know God or to be used by Him.
Tom and I spent time exploring people in Scripture who, because of their past, could have thought it was too late for them to know God. But Rahab, a prostitute (Josh. 2:12-14; Heb. 11:31), and Zacchaeus, a tax collector (Luke 19:1-8), chose faith in God despite their past.
We also looked at Jesus’parable of workers in the vineyard (Matt. 20:1-16). The earlier the hire, the more labor they were able to give the vineyard owner (vv.2-7), but those hired later discovered they had equal value in the owner’s eyes and would be rewarded equally (vv.8-16). The vineyard owner chose to be gracious to them all.

Prostitutes and their clients at a hotel beat black and blue, tore into shreds uniforms of the security operatives attached to the Environmental Task Force monitoring the monthly environmental sanitation exercise.
The Task Force led by the Commissioner for the Environment, Chief Sola Ebiseeni, had set out as early as 8 am to ensure strict compliance with the monthly environmental exercise.
Trouble, however, started when the team got to Inner Circle Hotel at Oke padi, off Lao street in
Akure, and met the prostitutes with their clients.
They were said to be drinking and dancing when the Task Force took a swoop on them. Surprisingly, the prostitutes resisted their arrest.
And in the ensuing encounter, some Civil Defence officials and one other security personnel were beaten mercilessly.
A female Civil Defence officer had her uniform torn into shreds by the irate women of easy virtue.
When it was obvious that the prostitutes and their clients had overpowered the team, they put a distress call to the police and SSS headquarters for reinforcement.
It took the intervention of additional security men comprising of mobile policemen, State Security Service official and Civil Defence before the security men could be rescued in the hands of their attackers.
When the Commissioner for Environment got to the scene, SunNewsreports he ordered the hotel premises to be sealed off. Ebiseeni who was feasibly angered with the prostitutes’ action, asked the prostitutes and their clients to be arrested and taken to police station for interrogation. He said the offenders aside from facing environmental court would also be prosecuted for assault on government’s officials.

No idea, we are just promoting the ideals of Mercy Johnson Foundation. The idea is to identify the needs, evaluate and help in our own little way. All fingers are not equal; those in position to help should do so without hesitation. You will be hearing a lot about Mercy Johnson Foundation from now on. We have put our house in order and now ready to help those we can. I strongly believe that as stars we should live beyond the euphoria of stardom and the moment. We will not always be here, what happens if you look back and realise you could do a lot to make the world better when you had the spotlight and you didn’t? I want to live beyond the moment.
Why the reform homes in Lagos?
I know I’m not glamorous to a lot of people, but we must know that if we do charitable things for publicity alone, we defeat the purpose. We need to find ways to reform young boys and girls otherwise they will make life uncomfortable for the children of the privileged. At this point, I must commend the government of Lagos State for making efforts at reforming the kids. We are looking at what we can do with the state to help make the future of these children better.
Motherhood seems to have changed you…
Yes, motherhood changes women. You begin to see yourself as a co-creator. You begin to see yourself as a protector. Few days ago, I was feeding Purity and she started dragging the bottle with me with the hot water in it. She pushed the bottle, I had to quickly push her away from the water and let it pour on my arm instead. That’s the kind of protection I am talking about. I think it will also make you feel more responsible for other children as well. You begin to see them as children of some other mothers. You have a sense of responsibility to want to protect them as well.
How are you coping with your husband and the baby?
There’s nothing like coping, he’s making my job easier. He dots on her. He carries her, feeds and does everything for her such that she misses him when he’s not around. You won’t believe she sleeps on his chest every night. He understands whatever adjustment I need to make when it comes to the baby. He’s a loving father?
What about being a loving husband?
Come on now, you know that Sam. He’s the best thing that happened to me. People usually say men are not reliable, in the case of my husband he’s a blessing. It’s obvious we are his priority.
So, your step of faith is paying off?
Yes. I am not saying its perfect, but this is close to perfection. If this is what it feels to be married, I want to marry my husband again and again.
How come you took a break and still returned as number one in Nollywood?
There’s nothing like number one in Nollywood. We are all doing our jobs; it’s just that some people are busier than others. I’m glad of what God has given me.
What should we expect from you career-wise?
I’m trying to be more selective with what I do. If the script is not good, I don’t want to do it. Our market is getting core aware and advanced as the day goes by.
How come you are not an ambassador of any brand yet?
We are having discussion with a couple of brands, when we agree with the terms, you will hear from us. However, I need to quickly point out that Mercy Johnson is a blend of youth and family brand. We just can’t stand and represent any brand. If it’s not representing the youths, which is our major consistency or the family, we will not be favourably disposed to it. I can’t at this point be ‘hawking’ cleavages in the name of promoting brand. Things have changed; this is the beginning of a new era for me.

Rap Mogul-Jay-Z is hitting back at those who claim he is part of a secret cult-Illuminati. In his new song “Heaven,” Hov raps about his thoughts on religion and the nutty haters tho think he had to sign his soul over the devil to gain power.
On the song, Jay-Z talks about a conspiracy theorist who say he doesn’t believe human beings can work hard to attain wealth, but blame it all on joining the Illuminati and secret shady organizations that run the world.
In the same song, Hov raps about how he thinks religion separates rather then unifies. He adds that people should question certain aspects of religion and God, since some elements of it may cause destruction to the human race and way of life.
Do you think he is just trying to cover his Illuminati tracks? I hope I am not tagged Illuminati after I make my billions from the hard work I am currently doing.
